Scott, neither one of you mentioned one of my *other* fav LaRocque vids.... Aaron filmed and created a movie of my stage debut in a play his sister wrote with a friend of ours... A great interview and write-up, I love to watch so many of his videos on Pinkbike, too.... We don't see him often, except on Google StreetView, it's great to connect!!
...as a fan, I just wanna see how they deliver VODs in print... Kindle, anyone???
I've gotta say that the music was a magnificent balance for the videography in the movie! Great work, again, and thanks for the intimate look into another aspect of movie production, Ryan and Derek! I have an image of a juggler, and him having to throw out the ball that wasn't quite right, to make the whole collection of flying balls more perfect. Ajay's contribution shows incredible talent, too! It's great to know that there are resources out there, that can step up when you need them. BTW, the video sequence, especially in 720P, takes me right into their performance studio with them.... Thanks again for Life Cycles and another look at a fabulous creative process!
Thank you, Tara, Pinkbike and Aaron, for bringing Tara's story to us! I met Tara and Elladee once, and I can't believe the strength of spirit and imagination that they have. What would have crushed mere mortals just inspires her, and she shows that "you can do it!". I look forward to seeing the rest of the video, 'cause the world needs to see and hear these messages! Tara, you go girl!
....I'm an Old Koot.... Goatstyle's moved from Creston to Silver Star in Vernon.... Bigger Venue, growin' up! The Goats will always be Creston, though....
I loved it too! The GoPro add-ins was a great touch.... Incredible looking riding, sharp edit!!!
Hey, Nick... Thanks for the update; Great News! Elaine and I are both thrilled that you're already enjoying such a great outcome.... A fitting answer to all our prayers, for a guy that deserves it! All the best to you and Audrey, as your treatment progresses..... This way, you'll be able to keep giving back the way you do!
Ian, I really appreciate this column, and all the feedback! I hope that all Pinkbike readers and riders follow your advice, and I've posted a link to this page on my Facebook page..... I'm not much of an outdoor enthusiast, and I don't encounter ticks very often, but I *really* don't want to ever experience what you and the other commenters have posted...
BTW, I also appreciate your terrific photography, and will be perusing your links to find a way to contribute....
...what a great way to cover an event like Rampage! It's not easy to capture the breadth and all the action at an event like this, but this is a terrific try! To do it all would overwhelm most spectators, I know I've tried to capture events, and you go nuts trying to be everywhere and do everything.... Way to go! About Us
